having shot one, if I had the money I would buy it.
IMO I would buy a good 1911-Para, Kimber,etc and use the rest of the money that you would have spent on the NH for practice ammo, holsters,
mags. Good luck
A kimber isn't a custom gun either.
Ammo and training is good advice however.
Ammo prices should be the least of your worries if you are looking at 1911's that cost more than two grand.
Man for the money, I just don't see it for a NightHawk. I have drooled over their threaded AAC one for a while, but there is no way it is worth the coin in my book.
I will endorse them too, if the send me onenight hawk I feel is worth the money. Larry Vickers and Ken Hackatron both endorse them.
