    So everyone who shoots steel is....wrong?

    properly made & maintained steel targets a) deflect the bullet & fragments downward & b) move, absorbing the energey of the bullet..
    they also need to be hard & thick enough to not crater.. a crater can create a pocket that can turn a bullet 180 degrees sending it right back at you..
    ICE can do the same thing.. internal fracturs can create pockets that can bounce the bullet right back at you...
