    Seems this study misses the whole idea that gun violence has gone down exactly BECAUSE gun ownership has increased.

    Also, by cherry picking 4 countries in the table at the end of the article they completely obscure the truth of this map:

    NONE of the top 30 countries in terms of gun ownership are among the top 30 countries in terms of homicide rate. None.

    I did not arm myself to defend against gun violence, it was for ANY threat of deadly violence against my family or myself. The threat these day's is against our 2nd Amendment Rights more then some wack job going off the deep end. Excluding the gun grabber's.

    I agree with you that it's our 2nd Amendment rights are what is being threatened. The decrease in gun violenace is a direct result in more people carrying.
