Yeah. I drive this. (In Michigan) 135,000 pounds loaded.
I've been a gear head since I was about 13.

You know what would be awesome? More wheels!

    mine :)

    Two Wheels Up

Here is my latest ride. The windshield is a remembrance of a little time spent in Southeast Asia. ( I hope my attachments load - first attempt. Gonna feel kind of silly if they don't).

My 2 owner 87. All original. This picture was taken halfway through our circle around lake michigan tour we did this year. Current plans are to finish my 5.3 and swap it in...

Depending on how much Poo you are building into the 5.3 and what your driving style is I recommend tying the frame. We did my Sons 86 with a very warmed up 355 and it did a number on the car.
Of course it was getting hammered so there is that....17 year old boys tend to do this.
Car ran a best of 12.96 on a set of Mick Thompsons.

Oh yes. She will have weld in SFCs. 450RW is the idea and of course backed by a t56.. These cars hate power

The torque arm is OK for the stock drive train but it does not like HP over 400. Add some Nitrous and the rear control arms are sissy weak.

1 more thing.....the anemic 7.5 ring&Pinion needs some help as will. Auburn pro P-trac and a bracing cover.

If you put some traction tires on it that may not be enough.
