It has already started. Saw a floor wh*re today with a Romy AK parts gun for $600 and read on another thread about a dealer selling Wolf 7.62 x 39 for $400 per 1000 round case. Maybe they can find a job at Don's Guns.

Who was selling the AK and what shop is gauging for the 7.62x39? I want to know where to avoid.

No shops. The Romy was a floor wh*re walking around a show this weekend (as previously stated) and the $400 7.62 was an unidentified seller at this weekend's Muncie show.

While I would love to go since it falls right on my birthday and I would have a great excuse to spoil myself I will pass due to crowds and price gouging that I'm sure will take place at this show (well, more than usual anyway).

Went to Kokomo yesterday, may go to the Tipton show next weekend - really doubt I will go to the Indy - food and drink outrageous, most gun / accessory / ammo prices higher than the other shows, admission way to high and only show I attend where they charge to park. This after I spend the gas to drive 100 mile round trip.

The only way I'll be attending will be if I'm asked to help out at the INGO table. (Which I don't anticipate)

I did that....... it's fun! :yesway:

Cuts into your show browsing though. :):

You do get to enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells of the show from a relatively safe vantage point.

Yeah - but then I'd have to hang out with Moderators and people like you...

I think I may actually make the drive up to Indy for this one, never been to one of the 1500's yet. Might as well check out the INGO table finally and maybe some ESEE knives, hopefully a Junglas. :D

I have found Bradis is very competitive with any of the gun show prices and they are in our neighborhood.

Same with Plainfield Shooting Supplies. Bob's prices at the show are the same as normal in the shop.

Unless they change a few things to make it a better experience for the customer I can't see myself going through all the crap to maybe find some quasi deal. And why yes, you are welcome to those that believe they always find killer deals at the show no one else can find. I won't be there competing for those items. Good Luck to everyone that does attend.

I expect to see more battle-hardened, former Navy Seal-SF-Ranger-Pathfinder, 8th degree black belt, Chief Petty Specialists in the ING Black Ops Section, that this state has to offer. I'm sure more drop-leg holsters, plate carriers and tannerite will be sold than at any other time. I can't wait to see the show.

Good point Que, if I wanted to buy mall ninja gear (because I'm not an operator, its mall ninja gear) I would buy it off the internet. I'm sure there will be some interesting characters there. Usually a fun time observing the crowd and I bet a larger cast of more flamboyant characters than ever before at this show.

I'll be there, can always find some deals if you look hard enough. Have yet to go to an Indy show with out coming home with something new.

There are already enough nuts that have fell off the tree Que. The last thing we need is the election results to shake the tree a little harder. Personally I am probably not wasting my time on the 1500 as I can get what I want through a shop or accessories from the web. I think the whole election hype is total b.s. but as usual gun owners show they are just as crazy as the lefties when it comes to a threatening legislation.
