So, I'm assuming this bill just died? My half-assed attempt to manipulate technology and figure out what happened to it have thus far been fruitless. I didn't see it on the governor's site of signed legislation. Too bad if that's the case. Who would not have wanted at Huntertown Arms can without the $200 rub to Uncle Sam?

    Where's the bacon?
It did in fact die in committee, as most bills do, however the main reason for that is that it is at present unenforceable. You can make a 10A argument and it goes up against the Supremacy clause and needs to be decided in court (or possibly Court) and to date, that has not happened. I'd guess that our legislators don't want to buy trouble with the feds in their own (Fed) court system, and quite frankly, I think that's a responsible choice. Several states have passed bills like that. Let them be the test cases in court- once SCOTUS rules on it, it will go one way or the other. Sadly, we cannot predict which way it will go until it goes.

    Blessings,
    Bill
