    What COULD happen:

    EO banning almost all imported firearms (save perhaps for double-barreled shotguns...)
    EO banning all firearms to be repatriated into the US (Think M-1 Garands and Carbines...)
    EO banning the import of all surplus ammunition
    EO banning the import of all ammunition in general - surplus or not

    It CAN happen. It HAS already happened with the Administration putting the kibosh on the repatriation of lend-lease rifles to/from Korea.

    Yes, it most certainly can happen, but it hasn't yet except in the case of the South Korean firearms as stated above. I doubt the original link is true, but I would keep on guard as it is a possibility for it to happen some day.
