I'd buy it - and have the figures ground off and recarved, and the ivory re-carved, and the entire thing pressure-washed clean. True ivory is difficult to find and worth half the list price on its own, or more.

As it stands, it is unique, but supremely grotesque. This stands in a category all its own. Anyone have any eye-bleach?
