I just got a notification that my new SR22 is coming back from Ruger.
I bought one with a threaded barrel and was getting baffle strikes on my suppressor right out of the box.
I mailed it 12 days ago, so turn around I felt is good but I have had no contact from them to know what was up. not that it matters as long as it's fixed when it gets back.

Ruger has awesome turnaround time. I called with a problem on my P97 DC, which had previously been sent in a few years ago. The lady emailed me a prepaid NDA UPS label which I shipped out on a Tuesday, and I received the repaired gun the next Monday. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Almost good enough reason to buy a Ruger. :)

I have never sent a pistol back before. But this was too much of an issue to over look or fix at my expense

I have had a good experience with Ruger CS. I had issue with take down lever on my SR22 pistol. They put a new lever in and all is fine now . Turn around time was 6 days and they sent me a cleaning rag too...

They did right by me too. It's a shame you had to send it back but there CS is top notch.

Ruger stands behind their new guns and turns the repairs around quickly. I know this because many of my friends have recently sent new Rugers back to the factory for repair. (Avoidable QC issues???) It usually takes about a week, door to door. I expect they will have re-barrelled it and changed out a good portion of the top end for you. It should be a shooter now, as it should have been when it first left Ruger. Please let us know.

Was there significant damage to the baffles?
If so, did Ruger address this?

Just curious how far their warranty extends.
