I'm really enjoying their commercials on the various stations I listen to, from urban R&B to country to talk radio. They are really pushing their expanded gun selection, classes and some program they have for safe ownership.

I have to say... Gander Mountain now has a GREAT showroom floor as far as the gun market goes.
Probably the largest selection/inventory of guns in the state (without going to a 1500/Gun show).

Now the only thing they need to do is make sure they are THOROUGHLY training their employees to be people friendly
while ALSO having a solid background in firearms and they will be very successful with their new Firearms Store.

I call them newbies. I've seen the same thing out of vets, at some points in time. You really have to stay focused.

Yeah GM looks like it's gonna be the new standard as far as inventory goes. Well guns at least. Not sure about the ammo end of it.

The Merrillville/Hobart store is coming along nicely.

I also agree on the employees being the X factor. More than likely they aren't all going to know about everything about all those guns.

Was in the Castleton store yesterday and they had many AR's, maybe 4 or 5 brands as I recall. Inventory is definitely returning along with pricing. Even had bulk .223 ammo in stock. Why yes I picked up some for good measure.
