Ive never had any problems with their ammo. Shotgun, centerfire, or rimfire. Maybe im just lucky
That's China quality control for you... oh wait, you didn't know that Remington moved their ammo production to China, say it isn't so.
their .22lr is crap (IMHO). my 597 has failure to fire with at least 2 out 10 rounds, if not more. no probs with the federal
I was going through my wife's grandpa's shooting stuff and came across a few unopened 100 round boxes of Remington .22LR - still in a Coast To Coast Hardware paper bag with a receipt dated 5 Oct 75. I'm torn between wanting to leave them alone and wanting to compare some side-by-side with modern Remington .22LR. Maybe throw them both over a chrono to see what the variation is like.
