    That's great Tula, never thought of somthing like that. It's a fine ending for an old war horse like that, better than the scrap heap, I would think whoever reparks it would render it inoperable.

    Guy in Michigan, Tim Shuff (I'll try to post a link) does fantastic work, I think he is the go to guy for realistic parkerizing.

    Will the museum or you be doing something to make this rifle permanently non-functional? No telling what somebody down the road might try to do if this rifle appears to be functional.

    We haven't gotten that far yet. I would say that the barrel will probably end up being lead filled like most of the other dummy guns.
