Perfect, that's where I purchased the blind, so hopefully they will be the right kind. How do that attach to the blind?Rural king has the panels
I believe I heard that as long as you have orange shutters on the window you are hunting from, you are ok.If I plan to hunt from my house do I have to tape orange panels to the exterior?
You can also just get fabric from a hobby store and cut them into 12"x12" sections. This would be cheaper, especially if you have more than one ground blind.
This is what I've done.
Warning:
I know some stores sell the orange "blind cap(s)" that are supposed to meet size requirements.
At one point, the DNR rules book specifically forbade the use of these caps, saying they were "insufficient, and would not satisfy the law in Indiana.
I went to Jo-Ann fabrics and bought a chunk of orange cotton right off the bolt.
I can't recall exactly, but I think I figured they cost me less than $2 per square.
Again, find the regulations in the newest rules book.
If I remember correctly, there was a pretty specific size.
It had to be a minimum of 12" x 12" (144sq/in) clearly visible on each side of the blind..
