Had an Orchard Oriole up in Michigan Saturday. My wife cut up an orange and the female came out of hiding too. Pretty birds.

And as soon as I hear a jenny wren, I'll shake the sparrow and blackbird nests out of the martin house. Those little wrens won't put up with intruders.

I've been wondering about this. I put my feeder out a few weeks ago and the only thing using it is the woodpeckers. Seems like they're late this year.
