I have Robbins that are building nest after nest in the same spot where they are not really wanted.

One spot is on the front porch on the blades of a ceiling fan. I don't want to keep the fan on 24/7. As soon as the nest is removed, they start building again.

Any ideas on what would keep them away? I have wind chimes about 2 feet away but the sound/movement doesn't seem to scare them off.

If they're trying to nest on the blades, maybe try taking the blades off for a week or so, until they find a new building site?

I have a porch light fixture that's above my entry door thats real popular with some kinda skinny grey birds-Gonna try the duct tape idea! Tired of chasing them around inside the house, shooing them back outside-repeatedly tearing down the nests seems sorta unneighborly
