Funny story, back in 05 I went in to buy a glock... walked out with two XD40s. One service and one subcompact.
Sold the subcompact a few years later since I only carried it with the extended magazine (which made it just about the same size as the service) but not because I didn't like it. Just picked up an XDs45 a week ago and it is rapidly replacing my Kimber Ultra Carry II as my EDC.
2...Both in .45ACP and both with flat dark earth frames. A XD Compact and a XD Tactical, compact frame. Makes it real easy to carry either gun, with that compact grip frame. But a 13 rd. (with or w/o the {X-tention} trim ring) magazine makes it a full size Service or Tactical model. I need to learn how to do pictures here.
0 I have a Glock. In the words of a good friend "I only need one dishwasher safe pistol". I just think that is funny. I've heard nothing but good things about them, just don't care for how they feel.
