Military service is one of the VERY few acceptable excuses for shaving.

"Oh, but I don't look cute enough to fit in with the rest of my boy band", however, is not.

What about "most women my age don't like it and I really like getting laid sometimes"

    Good excuse?

No. *women* love beards. Stop bothering the little girls.

There are lots of great monasteries that will love you for the person you are.

    .....
Haven't shaved in over a week and I'm struggling cause I look like hell. I'll stick it out to see how it looks all grown out

It was rough for the first week, now that Im past that its ok. Its easier as I'm off on leave due to the arrival of our son, so I dont have to really dress like I have to be somewhere, so its all good.. And the scruffy look is acceptable!

Hmmm, we should start our own for beards. Oh wait, we did:) I always sport the goatee/attached 'stache. I have some burn scars on one side of my face that make it difficult to keep a full beard even but I'll play. Once it gets going it covers okay. I just have trouble when it comes time to trim it up and shape it so it's pretty much gotta be grizzly adams style for me.

It just doesn't work for me. Like someone said, I look better at 26 without it than I did at 22 with.

Monk thing doesn't work for me. I like being a big manslut and I think you need to be a Christian to join one.
