The third season begins on Friday, is anyone anxious to see it. I started watching from the beginning, and it gives you a little insight how Washington works, and how politicians can manipulate the government. I really have enjoyed it so far, and I'll probably binge on it once it's released on Netflix.

Very excited, if this follows the original season 3 will be the last season sadly. But we are in for one wild ride that is for sure.

    Great show.

Only negative is the patronizing feminism stuff.

Meaning, most of the show is intellectually rigorous, excellent writing. Cynical to a fault sure, but the quality is fantastic. You can't help but root for the writers in some ways.

But then they know that they need salon.com, gawker, and huffington post to sign off on it without a column titled "where are the strong women?" "Where is the gay (whatever)."

Some of the female characters engage in "I'm a strong woman mode" dialogue that is so patronizing and obvious.

Plenty of shows feature strong women and you notice it after the fact. That's good writing. This show is like "see this scene? Are you watching! I'm like, a totally strong woman OMG instagram!"

Plenty of "yuck" moments to go along w/ the brilliance. There is a good five minutes of every episode that is terrible hack-yuck bridged in exclusively to appease liberal bloggers.

Biggest hindrance of the show for me.

I suppose if you go full circle with my thought, I'm just sad about the way the press works, not really disappointed in the writers. They are doing what they have to do.

My daughter binge-watched the whole season 3 yesterday! I almost lost my life when I asked her is she wanted dinner! And I was going to cook it for her!

Been watching it myself but in a more reasonable time frame. Quite a show and it makes me wonder how they get away with some of the things without incurring the wrath of King Barack.

Who on INGO would support the America Works program?

I would support it as a transition plan to get rid of entitlements. Would have to be phased out in 5 years or so, as govt subsidized employment isn't a good long term plan.

overall disappointed by season 3. Don't like doug's storyline, don't like Claire's either. Two more episodes to go. Even though I'm not thrilled with season 3 I still can't stop watching.

    INGO'ers...

Would you see House of Cards as a Liberal or Conservative show? Why?

I initially thought it to be liberal... but the more I watch, I see the obvious parallels they're making with real people in politics... and it's shining a huge light on liberal corruption. The ultra-communist "AmWorks" is definitely a nod to the socialist "Obamacare"

Outside of mentioning Republicans here and there... all the bad stuff is being led by Democrats.

I see it as an equal opportunity offender, but because the main characters are Democrats I can see how they come off as....not positive.
