In the past I've used a hammer style bullet puller :xmad:, or one of the RCBS collet pullers . No more.

The Hornady Cam Lock Bullet Puller is a superior way to pull bullets.

It is simple to set up, simple to use, keeps the work area clean, and it's FAST.

I've pulled my small bucket of "need to be pulled" bullets, and also pulled thousands for other people over the last few months.

When I'm in the groove with this I can pull bullets at a pace of about 400 per hour... and with just a little practice you can pull even lead bullets with only very light marks on them

The puller itself is about $20, and the collets for the individual calibers are under $10 each.

In short, I highly recommend it.

Here is a quick video I made showing how fast and easy it is to use. In the video I am pulling 357sig.

Looks fast to me. But why do you have so many bullets to pull? I usually get the bullets to come out of the casing at the range through my gun.

Ive had a small bucket of "to be pulled" bullets that built up over he years. I also made deals with friends where I pull their bullets and get to keep the brass... So that's a win-win.

But yes, getting bullets to come out of the casing at the rage is my preferred method.:ar15:

Got one myself... I gave my inertia hammer type away after first time I used the Hornady !

Amazing once word gets around just how many suspect rounds you can acquire
from friends... Most just want to get rid of the rounds and are shocked I'm more than happy to take them off their hands for free. I typically salvage everything but the powder.

I have one, i've used it to pull factory ammo if i have a box or two of ammo that just wont shoot for crap in a gun. I have also used it when ive come across a box of, when the hell did i load this stuff? It is definately handy dandy

Stuff happens. Just yesterday I was plinking with some PMC .223 and 3 out of the box didn't go boom. Being imperfect, I've also seated bullets without powder. Sometimes when setting up a die I'll use empty cases to get COAL right, then I'll pull the bullets and load them for real.
