That runs counter to the agency's claim that it monitors social networks only to gain data about potential attacks on the U.S. You never know who is looking at your social media.
I have never use Facebook or Twitter, only because I am to old to understand the need. That being said, Why do you think Homeland Security, needs to monitor public debates of goverment policy? Are they just playing it safe or is there a more sinister plot afoot? What do they do with all that data?
