I'm about to order a Glock 20 and need recommendations on a good holster.

I won't CC this thing (ya, right), so IWB is not a consideration. It will be used primarily to hold the gun in the safe, I don't intend to carry it very often.

    Requirements:
    - quick draw. It must allow rapid access.
    - Trigger covered
    - Barrel end covered. I don't want a peekaboo at the working end when holstered.

I'd like it to accommodate a light or laser, but I can see that being asking for too much in light of the other attributes.

So many options from Galco, Fobus, etc I can't make heads or tails of them.

Depends a lot on your price range. I carry my 21 in a Blackhawk! SERPA CQC. On the expensive side when it comes to holsters, but certainly allows for all the requirements you desire. I don't know that they make a SERPA that adapts to light or laser attachments, but I've never looked either. No matter what pistol I carry that day, it's usually in a CQC.

I carry my 21 in a fobus paddle holster. Works great for me but everybody is different. Try before you buy if possible.

Raven Concealment Phantom. I've had one for my Gen 3 21 for over a year and I use it for IDPA and for my EDC. It also works with my G30 so I have one holster that does it for that entire family of Glocks.

Don't overlook the Glock Sport/Combat holster for $10-$15. It doesn't completely cover the barrel but for a holster that will allow you to use your new piece while exploring all the other holster options out there, there are none better. I've had my Sport/Combat holster for over 5 years and they have been used for carry and competition and they are a great little holster.

I have had good experiences with Comp-tac, Blade-tech, Sidearmor, and Safariland. If retention is important to you take a look at the Safariland 6377. Otherwise any of the others above with a quality gunbelt should serve you well.

I personally did not care for the fobus and blackhawk holsters I have owned, but they were functional at a low price.
