    I have a Jeep habit.

I'm also involved in Boy Scouts... have been an Assistant Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, and am now doing a stint as Webelos Den Leader. I'm also a merit badge counselor and can do Rifle Shooting Merit Badge... and a few others that relate to outdoorsy stuff and electrical engineering

Is your troop going to participate in JOTA in October? If so I'd like to offer my time to help out.

I like motorbikes! I have a 95 Kawasaki Concours sport touring bike and love getting out and riding. I also enjoy camping and fishing and running.
I am interested in history, genealogy, and am a member of the Ancient Order Of Hibernians which is a Irish-Catholic fraternal association.

You do any APRS with the D700A or just use voice?
    Not currently.

I need to send it to Kenwood. Apparently one of the surface mount components just inside the GPS connection on the radio has set itself on fire. My GPS setup works fine on other D700s, and My D700 fails to recognize anyone else's GPS.

Honestly I fail to see the point really though. Why do I want to give up half my radio so people I don't know can track my car? ;)

I have looked at a few dedicated APRS setups. in the 5-8w range I might invest in later.

    I've got time

I'm retired so collecting pension checks is my #1 hobby. I find time for the rest of this stuff.

Shooting. Our shooting has only two purposes. Home/self defense and prairie dog population reduction.

Softball. I've been playing competitive senior softball since I turned 50. I've probably averaged 125-150 games a year for the last 15 years. I'm on the DL pending a hip replacement this year.

Golf. The only "sport" I can do now. Three rounds this week.

Following grandkids. We've got 5 grandkids involved in a variety of sports.

Personally I love my legos. No pictures at the moment but the ships (star wars) and pirate ships are my favorites. Luckily my wife loves them too!

A little "hobby" I have had for about 15 years. Shoot several shows in the North part of the state and lower Michigan.

Does this mean I am the only one growing bonsai trees?

(Please note that I do not claim to have mastered it, just to be doing it.)
