I'm quite convinced that H&K USP don't exist in Indiana anymore -_-

Having the damnest time finding a 40 Compact (seriously, they simply disappeared).

Hehe. Yeah I called them, along with every other gun shop I could find in Indy listed, no one had it.

Gotta keep hopes up, maybe someone on here will come through for me. It'll be my first gun, so I'm aiming high :)

On topic, though, I suppose the reason I'm infatuated with the HK over the Glock 23 is the design and build. There's something about the frame and slider that really appeal to me. The glock seemed too blocky, y'know? Though if I can't find the HK after so long, I'm sure the Glock will be a great starter.

But if I DO find an HK... not sure if I should go with solid black, or two-tone... ;)

I was in there about 3 weeks ago and he had a brand new USPc 40cal ad its big brother in there, They were the ones with the Stainless slides. If only I could find one in 9mm ( two tone compact) I would be happy. Have you tried a WTB addy at HKPRO.

And there I thought I was the only one keeping track of the p30 50,000rd test.

I'm not, really. Todd posted those photos on another forum under the heading "just another day at the office"... some guys have all the luck. :crying:

I'm not an HK fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd love to visit the Grey Room in person. Much like I'm not a fan of the ATF, but I'd love to visit their pattern room, too. ;)

If you don't mind the extra hassle of mail order, try Clyde's Armory at: https://policeguns.com/catalog/

    Just got one from there.

Still on the lookout for a USPc .40 is SS though....

USPs in 40, fullsize or compacts can easily be found in NW IN at Blythes in Griffith, last I checked they had around 6 for sale, most were used, go in and talk to Roger, he'll take a good cash offer.

For compact in SS call Plainfield SS and talk to Bob, they may ship (on your dime) the one they have to your local FFL.

I HAD a two-tone USPc in .40 - the only gun I don't regret getting rid of. Seems weird considering I love Hk (I carry my P7M8 daily), but that gun was way too snappy for my taste.
