Good for you DirtyHarry, I think you'll like it. I have a C9 and think it's a great value. Have put about 600 or so rounds through it without any problems. What more can you ask for when you buy a gun at any price?

I even think they arn't bad looking. Now if I paid $600 for a gun and it looked like a block I'd be Pi$. But what the heck I'm not a gun snob.

Not a Glock fan, huh?? :dunno:  :lmfao:

Good for the budget minded guy that wants to protect his family. When you upgrade to a higher quality pistol, the high point makes a great boat anchor.

if I dropped my kimber and scratched it, I know it would still shoot. But I couldn't hit what I was aiming at because of the tears in my eyes.

Gotta say this has turned into a pretty decent thread, I would recommend checking out crystalship's links in his sig for anyone who is interested in purchasing a hipoint firearm. I have had great experiences with the 995, looking at the .45 now.

What do you think of the 45? I already have a 9mm, and was looking for something bigger and thought for all the already stated reasons that it could be a good one.

I had the displeasure of shooting goodcat's .45 at the range last week. I had mulitiple failures. Jamming was the biggest. It also refused to lock open when mag was emptied.
