Does Ram-z's on Farebee (Sp?) Drive have 1911 parts & accessories?
I've never been there before, but I'm going to see Doc at Unity tommorow, and thought I'd stop in there afterwards...

Ram-Z's is dead to me. Either of singlestacksig's suggestions would be worth a try. If you go to 4 Guns you have the added advantage of two other gun shops on the same street.

AB is down on the south side.. If you are going to the old hospital on SR-26 ( south Street) go up earl and check out Four guns, Diamond V , & others..
there are at least 3 gun stores on earl between south & union..

If you hit up four guns tuesday through thursday there is an older gentlemen that does some gunsmithing work, he will be able to order you what you need, and fit it.

RAM-Z was closed on Saturday...think the sign said that the AC was out.

Hopefully they're back up & running.

I attempted to visit 4 gun shops in Lafayette on Saturday afternoon... 2 of them were closed. This was the 4:00-5:00 hour.

Think pawn shop, not gun shop.

You can still score a deal in Ram-Z's from time to time. I bought myself a very minty Ruger Service Six for three bills for Christmas.

Yeah, the shops have strange hours for a retail business. One would think they would be open full days on Saturday and at least half days on Sunday.

After all, most people who can afford to buy stuff, work during the week!

What happened at RamZ? I've typically had good luck with Chad.

My parents and I chipped in on a G26 for my brother-in-law as a graduation present from his police academy. Ram-Zs charged me extra to rush ship it to him same day so he could qualify with it, then didn't ship it until the following week. They can take a hike to hell as far as I'm concerned. Trust me, it was not a misunderstanding either. We had a long conversation about how important it was to me to ship it immediately, and how I would have to pay extra for them to make a special trip out.
