I have components to roll my own, and I can still do it for less than $1/round.At nearly 4 bucks a round, you probably won't shoot it very often.
I've shot some of my hotter reloads in my Enfield 45-70 conversion, and it will definitely get your attention!I have components to roll my own, and I can still do it for less than $1/round.
Besides, if you shoot full loads, and not Trapdoor stuff, you probably wouldn't want to shoot much anyway!
They are sold out locally in store. Not sure about that model, but the Lafayette Rural King carries Henry's most all of the time.
Even when they are out of everything else, they almost always have a Henry or two.
Now, they want too much for them, but that's a different discussion.
That's why I wanted to get the .44 magnum! It's still high but not 4 dollars per shot.At nearly 4 bucks a round, you probably won't shoot it very often.
Make it in .454 Casull and we will talk !
I have a lever gun in .454 Casuall.I think the reason you don't see it is the chamber pressure.
65,000 psi makes for some serious locking system choices, as well as needing a reasonably polished chamber.
Enough people want them that if it was easy, there'd be more than one out there.
Rossi?I have a lever gun in .454 Casuall.
YesRossi?
Technically there are two lever actions that can handle .454, though the other one is actually chambered in .460 and sells for about $2800!Enough people want them that if it was easy, there'd be more than one out there.
