So I have an email into Henry however; I thought I'd ask here as well...Henry makes a Firefighters edition rifle. I want to change the number on the ladder that is on the stock to a different number. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Their customer service is exceptional. Call them on Monday and I'm sure they can get you setup.

I've been reading INGO too long.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought the OP was wanting to add a suppressor or flash hider or something.

To the OP, if you do contact Henry, please post the result! Interested minds (and other INGO members) want to know!

I called Henry today and tried to speak to a very curt person on the phone. At one point in the conversation I had to tell her to hold on, don't hang up I have a question. It turns out that Henry farms out the engraving to Baron Engraving, Baron Technology | Engraving At Its Finest they are out of Conneticutt. I was told to "look it up on the internet" in a rude voice.
Baron does all of the tribute stock engraving. I called Baron and was able to speak to a really nice customer service person named Kim. After a brief discussion, Kim and I were able to speak apples to apples. It turns out that for a reasonable fee, $100.00, Baron can change and add or remove anything on the tribute rifles with ease. So I was told to find a dealer, purchase the rifle, call Kim and they will make changes to a new butt stock and ship it out to me. They have forearm stock and buttstock material on hand. The turn around is approx. 2 weeks. I think that a $50.00 setup fee and $50.00 to process the changes are fair. Baron has a staff of people that hand paint and engrave all day long, so making a few changes before it is engraved into the rifle is no big deal.
