FYI, got this email yesterday as I own a Henry:

    Dear Valued Henry Customers,

Hurricane Sandy has caused significant damage to the Henry Repeating Arms plant in Bayonne New Jersey. We do not have any electricity, nor do we have any telephone or email service. We are hoping that we will once again be operational by the week of November 12th. In the meantime, we ask that you refrain from attempting to contact us. Also please refrain from shipping any firearms to us until we send a followup email confirming that we are once again operational. If you are a Henry vendor, please do not ship any parts to us until we confirm we are operational.

Rest assured, we will be back building our rifles again as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, understanding and loyalty.

And if you were affected by the storm, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Sincerely,

I've spoken with Anthony on the phone a few times and once had to send a rifle in for service. He is one of the finest people in the gun or any other business.

Thanks for the note and best wishes to Anthony and Henry Rifles.

I'll 'second' the endorsement of Anthony and everyone at Henry Rifles. They are fine American craftsmen, and Anthony is a 'pillar' in the rifle industry.

There is NO BETTER customer service with a firearms manufacturer than you'll get from Henry Rifle Co. I wish them well. :yesway: :yesway:

I wish them well in getting back up and running.
I ordered a .357 BigBoy last week and my dealer told me today that it may take a little while to get one. I'll let it on order for now and see how it goes in the next few weeks.
