Why is that funny?
My take on it when I wrote my last post was that we were in agreement but something was getting lost in translation. This seems to have been the case. Always good when it works out amicably!
I was under the same impression.
My mistake was not asking for proof that he was in fact a cop, and a range master at that. My gamble, my loss. But there still lies the problem of a scenario where someone could have been hurt. How do I know hes not selling this ammunition daily? If he is in fact a cop, and he is selling this ammunition daily, whether he knows its dangerous or not, something needs to be done and that is why i brought my problem to the INGO communities attention.
IndyDave has been uncanny in understanding what I have been, apparently poorly, trying to say
It mattered whether the seller was a cop because I did not believe a LEO would sell bad ammo knowing it would be a problem or a potential hazard to the person buying it. The guy seemed super cool and we even talked about trucks and other off topic things for a good 10min. I wouldnt buy reloads off of some guy that went out and bought a reloading set. I just figured they were reloads from brass used at the range and shipped out to be reloaded and restocked for use. Maybe I paid a little more than I should have but with the way price gougers are today how could I expect a better deal? I sure as heck didnt think Id be the one to get screwed. AS I said earlier, I have nothing against LEO's, but there are a lot of bad ones out there. There is no way you can argue that there are not, or at least not in my area. But i made the gamble, and ill pay the price. If this guy doesnt make it right ill take it on the chin and forever never trust any LEO anymore than a regular seller when buying guns or ammo. Ill just go to a dealer from now on and pay their inflated prices.
IndyDave, thats the problem exactly. I just trusted he was a cop and in fact a trustworthy person to buy a gun and ammunition from. I held him to a higher standard because he was a LEO. Thats how I was raised to regard an LEO. But in this case, and sadly in many other cases, I was dead wrong. Obviously.

DirteBiker, im assuming the possibilities. Im not pointing fingers to make myself feel better. Im assuming all the possibilities. This guy could turn out to reimburse me for my money and take the ammo back. OR, he was in fact stealing the ammo to sell OR he sold them not knowing they would be a problem OR he owned them, knew they were a problem and still sold them.... you see where Im going with this? Im only stating the obvious reasons as to why I was sold this dangerous ammo, but at the same time I am taking responsibility for my actions. It was my fault I didnt pursue my reservations upon viewing what I was purchasing. Im just letting the community know this guy is out there and if anyone can suggest a solution to my problem itd be greatly appreciated yet all Iv got so far is a s**tstorm of absolutely nothing.
So im just going to drop the issues on here and learn from the the mistakes I made. Dont buy privately from people I have no reason to trust, and never post anything on INGO. End of story. Im not going to apologize any longer, Ill just stay out of this forum and continue trying to find my way as an honest guy in a dishonest world.
