So after handling some of the choices, I decided on the M&P Shield. I was really rooting for the XDs, but the feel of the Shield was better and I was surprised I liked the trigger more too. The XDs was heavy and mushy.

I ordered one from G and R Tactical without a thumb safety and with Ameriglo Pro I Dot night sights installed for $475 total.

Hopefully, a rr with pics to follow...

Awesome! You picked a great gun and great sights! Did you get an orange or a yellow front sight??

Let us know how she performs at the range, & I'd personally love to see a review of the sights, been looking at those exact sights for soon purchased M&P 9c.

Mrgunsngear has a recent review of them on his youtube channel. He likes the trijicon HD's I think more, but also likes the I-Dots and talks about how is wife prefers the I-Dots etc. I would recommend that you get the yellow front and go for it man. I don't know of any other sights that give you more value for you money. I don't know if you have any experience with the trijicon HD's but it's just a strait-8 rather than 3 dot picture without the U notch. You would like them I am confident if you like the HD's or XS big dots. I say buy them and get yellow.. Def check out the review though (he has them on a shield I think)!
