Same thing happened to me. I opposed it, and was thanked for my support. I think his office is trying the Jedi mind trick. :starwars:

Unfortunately for them it only works on the weak minded............

Here is my email to Senator Bayh on the subject. Eventhough I'm sure it was a waste of time.

    "Dear Senator Bayh,

If you vote yes on the current Government Run Healthcare bill you will lose in the next election I and many others will give our time and money or whatever it takes to see that you are defeated. You’re not untouchable you only won the last election by 12%, and during the next election you won't have the Obama hoards to protect you. You'll have real Indiana voters that are smart enough to see that you talk one way like “reducing the national debt”, but vote another way like supporting the worthless stimulus package, and the soon to be bloated, and controlling Government Run Healthcare Plan.

Seeing that you're supposed to be representing Indiana why don't you look up a little thing called "HIP", if you didn't know, it stands for the Healthy Indiana Plan, it already provides health insurance for adult Hoosiers between 19 and 64. Then you have Hoosier Healthwise for the kids and Medicare for the elderly. So a yes vote the current healthcare bill does nothing but clearly demonstrate your desire for a loss of State's Rights, an Expansion of Federal Government, an increase in debt and taxes, and lastly a loss of more of our freedoms.

I'm sure you don't read your own emails, but if you do somehow see this I hope you take this to heart, and vote against this Government Run Healthcare Bill.

    Thanks for your time,

And the debate on the destruction of our healthcare system has been approved. Tune in after Thanks Giving to see if there is anything to be thankful for!

Bayh just voted 'yes' to move forward on debate on the S848B Health Care Bill. Lugar voted 'no'. 60 'yes'-39 'no' was the vote. Lieberman voted with the Dems. All Republicans voted against it. I'm reading that Voinovich of Ohio was the Republican not present at the vote.

Lieberman is all talk I thought he was supposed to vote NO. As for Bayh, I had a feeling I knew how he would vote.

I've given up on writing my senators. They just don't care.

Now, I pray to God more because I hope that he's still listening...
