Handgun used in the movie "Open Range"

As I stated once elsewhere, I really like the look of "Western" revolvers. There was a revolver used by Kevin Costner's character in the movie Open Range. It can be seen at the end of the big shootout near the end of the movie. I'm not sure if it can be seen elsewhere in the movie.

If anyone knows what handgun that is, please let me know.

Is there some website out there that identifies guns used in movies?
