100% this! 357 has a lot of kick; few women would not be interested in it. But the right answer is "the gun she wants". Take her shooting with many different options, and have her decide.357 is a heavy load for just about anyone. You’re leaning that way but what will she be able to manage? Never pick out a gun for someone else. Let them decide by handling many, shooting many and getting to know what feels best and what they can handle.
Duh. Thanks mr obvious. Way to kill the fun Buzz Killington. Why don’t you Denny the thread a little more?NotAnthony is NotAnIngoMember now, in case y'all didn't notice.
What I seen a 10yo girl shoot a 10mm 1911 with Underwood ammunition just fine.IMHO a bad idea and I've had over 1000 new shooters in basic classes.
My suggestion would be starting her with a 22 semi-auto and transition to some sort of 9MM.. Revolvers aren't easy to learn to shoot and 38 spl is NOT cheap or easy to come by.. Wish you were closer, I would be happy to help you out initially to get you going.
American lady or Filipino "lady"?
