    I'm surprised no ones mentioned Sturdy safes yet.

    They may night be the prettiest, but they are 6 gauge steel, when everyone else uses 10 or 12, and when it comes to safes, steel thickness is very important.

    Make sure you understand the warranty. An 800 pound safe will be expensive if you have to pay to ship it in for warranty work.
    When I bought a Cannon, their warranty covered shipping both ways for warranty work. Mine has power, usb and ethernet connections inside.
    It is not water tight, I didn't even consider that at the time, I wish I would have though.

    Thanks for the input, I think had a change of plans for the safe....we are going to wait til we get a house so we only have to pay to deliver it once and we can anchor to the floor, whereas I cant in my apartment.
