It makes some threads down right humorous when you don't see more than half of the posts LOLOh, man! Without your quote, I would never have seen that exercise in condescension! Remember: what I don't see can't irritate me!

Remember the good old days when we were told here how President Obama was the best friend gun owners had ever had in the WH...
Maybe in a way he has been. He certainly has caused an uptick in gun ownership. Hopefully he woke some people up. But apparently not enough.

It's good you're so knowledgeable about what INGO members can understand or not. Might as well close the thread. It's over our heads.
Just have to jump into the pool: if you lean liberal, IMO that means you support, Feinstein, Pelosi, Maxine Waters, the Clintons, Cuomo, Obama, Schumer, Emanuel, Durbin, Obama, and a host of others but you get the idea. As a constitutional conservative, I vote GOP while disagreeing with a lot that they do. With the Dems, I disagree with about 99% of what they do to us or would do to us given the chance.
How can a person enjoy firearm ownership and at the same time support those who want to remove that ownership?
Perhaps it is time to vote third party rather than simply voting for one primary party simply because you don't like the other primary party.
Have considered it, but IMO the reality is that we are a two party system. If I agree with say, 80% of how the GOP behaves and 1% of how the Dems behave, well, my vote goes to the GOP. I'm still not convinced that Perot didn't give Clinton 8 undeserved years in the White House.
The republicans and democrats have the same goal: To control us. The only difference is how they do it. By voting for one or the other only serves to perpetuate the way the system currently works. You want to change things for the better? Vote third party.
I don't buy that Republicans want to control us. I vote GOP and don't want to control anybody. I have rubbed elbows with several GOP pols, none of which expressed an interest to control me. A true GOP pol IMO wants to reverse our trend toward socialism. I have a real problem with those who wish to change my way of life, namely Dems.
Republicans have corporate interests above yours. What better way to control people than through their money?

I read polyamorous with great interest. I wonder if that refers to folks who like Glock and S&Ws? ****snip****
I don't have a political affiliation, I vote for the person who best represents my interests and 2A rights are very high on that list, but so are some other things.
Lots of people around here throw "liberal" around as a pejorative and don't seem to realize or care that a significant portion of those who are affiliated with liberal political parties ARE gun owners and 2A supporters. It's REALLY stupid to alienate those people because those are the people that the liberal politicians listen to and if you can get that group of people to pressure the liberal politicians to be less interested in being anti-gun then you make far more progress than simply voting for yet another conservative politician who will sell out the 2A whenever (s)he feels it will gain a few points.
Way too many people in the gun community take the stand of "if you don't agree with every political view I have then you are anti-2A scum" and that is, quite figuratively, shooting our gun rights in the foot. I don't want to elect a conservative politician, I want to elect a pro-gun politician, and if the person I vote for doesn't get elected, I want the other person to also be pro-gun, even if it isn't quite as much. The best way to do that is to be welcoming to ALL gun owners. Turning them away just because they are "liberal" works against this.
I would have thought everyone on here was a crazy religious right wing nut job ( now i realize there are only a few of you) lol. Trust me when you go on about Socialism and Communism and bashing people with different views than you it's not helping the cause.
