A good friend of mine found this for sale in NY. It was purchased new and put away as an investment in 1995. It's never had a round fired outside of the factory and is in 100% new condition. Definitely not something you'll see every day.

That sure looks like an H&K PSG1. Way cool piece of gun history there. I have never seen one in person, but have read many articles about the accuracy of these fine rifles.

That must have set your friend back a couple of pretty pennies.

I seem to recall the PSG1 to go for about 10 grand in the mid-nineties.

It is a accurate rifle. A lot of guys really like the HK 91 type rifle. The PSG1 is a step or ten above the HK91.

VERY cool. WIKI said they sale for between $12,000 and $15,000 a piece and there were only around 400 imported into the use before the ban.

AGAIN THAT IS AN AWESOME RIFLE!!!!

This one will be kept as is. He bought another one several months ago that he has been hesitant to shoot. I'm told we will be putting some rounds through that one now that he has a pristine example in hand. I'm looking forward to that. :)
