We dropped cable years ago. For $8.99/month we enjoy Netflix. It has everything we want. For news we just go to the internet.
Cancelled the jack wagons a couple months ago and last month I get a bill. Call them up and turns out they forgot to cancel the account and should be taken care of. Now this month I get a bill that says I'm past due but the balance shows a credit of $11 and change. What the hell they cannot even cancel an account correctly, guess I'll have to call them again!
And if you ask, they have to provide by law.My wife cracks me up...
"Excuse me, but could you get someone on the phone that can speak English?"
Little known fact, AT&T stopped prorating service when you cancel a while back. Given that all accounts are post paid accounts you'll almost always have a bill due after you close out with them. How they get to do that is beyond me. Haven't had to deal with it yet so I don't know if persistence will get them to credit you for the service you didn't use.
Meh... At the frequency 5G operates, the signal won't make it more than a couple 100 meters (yards, for you Neanderthals). Won't hardly penetrate the building, either. The schools are safe.We have a batch of nimby soccer moms up here menstruating about the 5G cells that are being put in. They're afraid of them being across the street from schools. How are these dumbfounded nitwits supposed to call 911 while cowering under a desk if they can't get a signal?
Pffft, now you're talking physics and facts. Most people revert to "I don't understand radio waves, they must be the source of my problems...."Meh... Besides, the kiddos are already saturated with wifi radiation. No one seems to mind.
Yeah. They waffle back and forth between "turn up the G's! I need my Interwebs!" and "I don't want the cancer! Don't put an antennae there!".Pffft, now you're talking physics and facts. Most people revert to "I don't understand radio waves, they must be the source of my problems...."
Verizon is putting 5G in Indy. They are offering 5G home service. Not available in Avon.
I want fiber.
