I have a chance to pick-up a used Glock 22 in nice shape for a decent price....do any of you Glock 22 owners have any thoughts ...Likes or dislikes?

You said enough right there! Get it! Shoot it! Love it! Also, I would suggest that you get a 9mm drop-in barrel.

Likes: Great shooting gun that is easy to repair and make changes to fit your needs.

Dislikes: So many other people have them, they are really common.

    Gen 2 or Gen 3?
I don't think you can go wrong with the G22. They are everywhere. Also, you can get a 9mm conversion barrel and some 9mm magazine and have two guns in one. This is my plan.

I already have a Glock 19...I think it is 2nd generation. I will have to find out what generation the Glock 22 is.

I have a Glock 22 and a Glock 23. I probably wouldn't buy another 22, but would buy another 23. Just like the size better and you can use 22 mags in the 23.

I am a big fan of Glocks. Having a 21 that I have had since 91, and a 30 that is from about 95, and am the proud new owner of a 27.

I'd say go for it if the price is right... how much of a discount from new are you getting?

I recently purchased a G22 and really love it so far. I have only sent about 400 rounds downrange so I really cannot say what it will be like over the long haul. However it is very comfortable, very accurate and a lot of fun thus far! Love my G27, but this just might become my new favorite. :rockwoot:

I have a G22 and like it. If you are a Glock fan and also a fan of the .40, you couldn't go wrong, especially if the price is decent. I have never been a huge .40 fan, and find I shoot mostly .357 sig out of mine.

Hi, my name is IndianaSlim and I'm addicted to G22's. I've got 3 G22s a gen 2, a gen 3 and a gen 4. For the last couple years the gen 2 has been the nightstand gun and I carried the gen 3 daily. The gen 4 is currently leading a meaningful life of destroying my stash of .40 ammunition :D.

Carried one on duty for a long time, now a G-23 or G-27 depending upon where I go, is what I choose, still the old 2nd Gen G-22 is the nightstand gun, and I enjoy shooting mine once a month.
