Glock 17, 22, & 23 RTF-2 being discontinued

I heard that Glock 17, 22, & 23 RTF-2 are being discontinued.

Any chance the value of those pistol's going up?

Not for a while. They're being discontinued because they're unpopular.

Where is this information coming from?

I imagine the RTF models will eventually be phased out along with the rest of the 3rd Gen line, but haven't heard anything about a timeframe for doing so.

they're GLOCKs, not heirloom Colts


I've heard nothing of them being discontinued, although they have gone back to the straight slide serrations instead of the curved.

It is a Glock. It is not rare or fancy. It will NOT appreciate in value; however, it will not depreciate much at all. Like Billy Dee says, "It works everytime".

The Gen 4 grips are pretty aggressive as well! I have a RTF Glock 22 and a Gen 4 Glock 22. I actually like them both, but would imagine my hands would be raw after 1000 rounds on the range in a day.

I had not heard that yet, although it will not surprise me since they have the Gen 4 now. I heard the Gen 4 models were not replacing the Gen 3 models, that they are just another option I really hope this is true because I do not at all care for the RTF or the Gen 4 models. I will stick with my Gen 2 and 3 Glocks.
