What do you guys think are fair prices for 50 and 100 round boxes of 9mm, 40S&W and 45ACP? Just curious as to what people are paying locally.

I like to get the 100rd 45 ACP WWB for $33 at Wally World. Go over to Duck Hill and that same box will literally be priced at $60. When I saw it there, I thought for sure I had caught a mispriced item at WW the first time, but I've since realized those are just the standard prices at each place. Needless to say, I don't buy *any* ammo at DH any more.

I haven't bought any 40SW in nearly a year, and I only just got my first 9mm at the 1500. So far, the the 9mm prices I've gone for are right around $24 for 100rd WWB.

ETA - and I know those are the actual prices I've been paying because I was able to look up the purchases on mint.com :yesway:

The Walmart at the old South Town location had more ammo tonight than I have seen there in a long time. As of 6:00, they had WW bulk packs in 9mm, .40, and also .45 ACP.

The Walmart in Anderson has tons of ammo.
    I counted
    90 boxes of federal 9mm at 10 per 50

Westfield Wal-Mart has 9mm RWS and WWB 100 packs. They've also got a ton of federal 40 JHP & FMJ, 223, Federal 22lr packs, and Remington 22lr. Was in there today @ lunch and the case was about 1/2 full (no 380 in any make or model though).

Well I was sent to Walmart by one of the guys @ Ace & Ricos and I found Winchester White Box 9mm 100round value packs for $23.46, that's even less than reloaded ammo @ Applied Ballistics. I can also verify that they are O.C. friendly, as I have seen 2 others O.C. there.

West Lafayette Walmart has some of the new Federal 9mm at $9.47/50rds. First I've seen it in person. I bought my 6 box limit and left maybe a dozen boxes for the rest of you. They had a ton of WWB but that's not hard to find anymore since they jacked the price up. Winchester is now my distant second choice assuming this Federal stuff functions.
