Check out this new documentary on Netflix. It's most certainly worth a watch.

For those who aren't familiar, Roger Stone is a political operative who has been involved in every presidential election since Nixon. He was associated with Watergate at 19, helped the Regan campaign in his late 20s, ran a lobbying firm with Paul Manafort in the'80s, tried to get Trump to run in '88 and played a big role in the 2000 recount that led to a Bush victory.

He's the inventor of PACs, negative campaigning and mis-information. He wrote the playbook for contemporary politics and played a huge role behind the scenes in the Trump campaign.

The left absolutely despises him and he relishes the infamy.

If you're a liberal the documentary will infuriate you. If you love Trump you'll be inspired. If you're just a cynical bastard and a political junkie (like me) you'll laugh your ass off.

I highly recommend it.

What people find galling is that the tactics work; that even knowing the how and the why of it, people are still sucked in - and then they send him another check.

The only way to stop it is for those messages to no longer work. If only there were a politician who was working to let people see the cravenness and dishonesty of the press. Roger Stone will die a rich man and will attend all the right parties until that day

I read his recent book on the Trump campaign. IMO great stuff. He really whales on Clinton.

It was extremely entertaining which is rare for a documentary. It speaks to Stone's personality and how engaging he is.

I thought it was presented fairly too. It wasn't a 90 minute hit piece on Stone, Trump or the GOP. It is more like, 'this is the way things are, deal with it.'
