Very fitting
Forgive my naïveté, but wasn't Jefferson a Democrat?
Asking for a friend.
I’ve never really liked split-levels. Just never made much sense. But that one seems to really work with the terrain in a way that makes sense. Good on them. I approve their CHAZ application.
Thomas Jefferson died in 1826 and the Democratic Party was formed in 1828. I do not know when the Democratic Party began to regularly claim the political support of the deceased
Thank you.Not really. He was a member of the Democratic Republican party which favored a small central government and state’s rights. Later a faction within that party eventually formed what is now the Democratic Party, and another faction formed the Whigs. Today’s Democratic party would call Jefferson a fascist, among other things that progressives tend to call people who advocate for smaller government and the primacy of individual rights. In fact, if you take out all the Ayn Rand nonsense, Jefferson would fit in better as a libertarian by today’s standards.
Shortly thereafter, I'd imagine.Thomas Jefferson died in 1826 and the Democratic Party was formed in 1828. I do not know when the Democratic Party began to regularly claim the political support of the deceased
1828, IIRC. Some of those founding members voted for Biden, I expect.
