    I have a few questions...

I am hoping to make next month's event and bring a friend. This will be both our first time in an event like this.

    1) Are 5 mags required when shooting a gun that hold 15+ rounds?
    2) What distance are the stages? (so we can practice a little before)
    3) Can any one give a description of each stage?
    4) from reading it seems as though you do each stage more than once?

I tried searching and i know i have read a description before, so i apologize. Links are welcome too.

    1) 5 mags ARE required. It is quite common for people to loan guns and gear if needed. We are, for the most part :D, a friendly lot

    2) Distanace I would guess is no more than 10-15 yards

    3) Stages are are generally 5-8 rounds, IFFFF you don't miss. Target arrays are 3-6 steel targes. There is usually a course description telling you how to engage the targets. Obviously, sometimes there are two rounds per target.

    4) Stages are shot 3 times. Scores are based on total time for each stage (string 1 + string 2 + string 3).

This is all from memory. Here are the real FNS Rules
