Folding Stocks on Rifles

A guy tried to tell me this weekend that if you buy a folding stock and put it on a new rifle it is illegal.I don't know if this is true.I know it used to be that way when the AWB was active.I thought since the AWB was expired and no longer active you can have anything you want or do anything you want.

For the most part yes. As long as it is within legal specs such as lenght sbd stock would be fine.

I'll second the motion; legal. Lots of good looking folders out there. My preference is collapsable stocks.

ATF unconstitutionally measures the length of a long gun with a folding stock in it's open position. Doesn't matter what length it is folded.
