I have a Fenix PD35 - 5 position switch, strobe and 850 Lumen torch mode. Great for traveling on airplanes, etc. Think I paid $70 give or take at INGO.

Surefire backup is what I carry daily. Love it, check it out:
    EB1 Backup Flashlight

I carry an E1b every day as well. For the size / weight and cost, when I bought it, it was hard to beat it. The light rides in my left rear pocket, and has worn a hole in more than one pair of jeans.

When I'm at work on the ambulance, I carry a frankenstein Surefire that I put together from different components on my belt.... the E1b is carried in my right cargo pocket's interior pocket. When we make a run after dark (I work 24 hour shifts), a Steamlight Stinger LED ends up in the truck / a cargo pocket just in case I need it.

That doesn't count the lights that we have mounted in the ambulance.

How are you guys able to carry these? I don't even have pocket space for reloads :n00b:

Ahh don't worry about it! I love my flashlight but I'd rather have more mags than flashlights! As long as I have a light mags are a priority... But yet I am still looking for a light it seems :ingo:

We still do have some PD35's left on hand. These really are pretty awesome lights. Save about $10 on them this week with coupon code DADS15

    Fenix PD35

If you buy one, don't buy an 18650 battery for it from Batteries Plus. It won't work. The Fenix light causes the battery protection circuit to trip when in Turbo mode.

I found out the hard way.

-1 to Batteries Plus. Should be Batteries Minus.

BTW: The PD-35 is an awesome light.

I have owned and carried too many flashlights over the years to recount them all but for the last two years I've been carying the Fenix E11. Small, bright enough to do anything I ever need plus it uses commonly available batteries.
