Wondering if anyone can point me to some decent fishing in Tipp county and nearby. Looking especially for places I might be able to break out the fly gear. Thanks

Fairfield Lakes. At least one of the lakes is stocked with rainbows, that was one of my favorite spots when I was a Purdue. Shouldn't have a problem using fly there, it does get busy at times but if you don't mind a walk, you can get away from most of the people who are out there.

Just looked it up, Fairfield looks promising...open enough for some fly fishing. Thanks for the info!

    Tippecanoe County
Tippecanoe River should be mentioned as a possiblilty as well for smallmouth, largemouth, stripers and musky. There is public access/parking where SR 18 crosses over it. Wildcat Creek has several access points within the county but tighter quarters might make it difficult to fly fish. Fairfield Lakes holds some good fish but gets pretty heavy pressure.
