@BigRed the tee is set high…

Civil forfieture is one of the most aggregious violation of the Constitution there is.....yet the fbi (as well as several other "law enforcment agencies") employ it with impunity.

Civil forfieture is a favorite target for Institute of Justice. I worked with them on a couple of cases here in Indiana a few years back. I hope they give the scum of the scum a figurative kick in their teeth they are *****ing teeth for a long time to come.

“The government has a duty to be honest with the court when it applies for a warrant under the Fourth Amendment,” Frommer said. “But the FBI lied about its intentions in claiming to only be interested in the property of the business, and not the box holders. Ultimately, the lure of civil forfeiture turned these federal cops into robbers.”

Is this where I am supposed to fake a "shocked face"?

fbi.....take an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the united States; spend a career raping it. Scum of the scum.

    Here’s some interesting recent history
from South Carolina, Judge Steven H. John ruled in October 2021 that SC’s forfeiture laws violated the US constitution.

Two months later the judicial merit selection committee, ruled that this judge, who had served on the bench for 20 years, was suddenly unqualified. The 6 judges on the panel declined questions about what made him disqualified.

State doesn't keep itself in check?

    That's surprising.

Some on here support civil forfeiture
Some vote for centralizers and commies too.

    This is not news.
Just gonna throw this out there... Let's say that a business is discovered to be a front for Mexican cartels, importing fentanyl into the country. The business is owned by an American citizen. Okay to take their **** after they have been convicted? I say yes.
