It's so cute ... maybe it will grow into an ESEE 4 or ESEE 6 someday!
I can't keep my knife from rusting...
If you'd use it more the usage would keep the rust at bay.
Or a little very fine steel wool and light coat of oil or WD40.

I use Eezox gun oil. When it dries it leaves a protective barrier on the knife. I use it after every time I use my knife. I used to use Rem oil and it worked well too.
Have you tried a dry lubricant? I use super quick clean guns on my ESEEs and haven't had any rusting issues.
I use it on my guns too, same deal.
Requires living up after every signal use?
I do NOT recommend using wd40. ( Sorry Dave ) Use rem oil or Tuf Glide or Tuf Cloth which is a dry film rust inhibitor.
Nothing to be sorry about. If anything the people with the most knives should know best, and whats best for your products. But could you explain why not to use it and why the ones you recommended are better. I'm always up for something if it's beter than what i'm using.
