Any word on why Pat isn't coming to Boone County this year?

"MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED AS DATES ARE CONFIRMED" :dunno:

He typically comes in July; I notice there are NO July dates showing on his schedule. So either he hasn't firmed anything up with Sheriff Ken just yet, or he's got closed-enrollment classes booked that month. Given his history at the BCSO range, I find it hard to believe he'd skip it entirely.

His shoot-house class is still on my list of things to do... sooner, rather than later.

Looking at his article in last month's SWAT Magazine, I think his shoot house "dummies" would be pretty easy to make. I thought about mocking some up at one of our training days (which we desperately need!).

How much is the operator's course? (i saw the requirements but missed the price). Also do you have to take the beginner's course before the operators or could you just take the operators? Thanks for the help.

Basic Carbine is $450 (2 days), Operator is $620 (3 days). You do not have to take Basic before you take Operator.

Boone County dates are now up on the EAG website. :yesway:

Hoping for milder weather than last July. Did both the Basic and the Carbine 2. Heat was bruuuuuuuuuutal the last few days.:flamethrower:

Sheriff Ken had made a comment last year about needing to make minimums to continue to hosting the classes. We only had one relay in the Basic class last year. Hoping to stir up some interest on the boards for the good Sheriff:yesway:

Signed up (electronically) for both courses. Hope I have enough stamina to last 5 days! Haven't received confirmation. Any idea how that process works. Can't seem to locate a phone contact.
