I have a Draco that Im wanting to put a UTG quad rail on. I got it all apart but from what Im seeing the gas tube needs some modifications to it to put it all together. My question is can a UTG quad rail be put on a Draco and if so whats the trick?

Have you done a search on youtube? I dont have the ak but I put a UTG quad on my sks and there was plenty of video over there. I did have to take a dremal to the rail to make it fit but I was forewarned I may have to do that. Good luck.

I do not think there is any modification needed. I installed a Midwest Industries rail on a standard draco and it went on fine. The draco's foregrip is the same as a standard AK I believe.

I just flipped threw U Tube , they didnt really have alot of demos on the UTG rail. They had a few pictorials but no R&R's . Im gonna go back in and Im hoping I missed something rushing to pop it on.

Remember: no vertical foregrips allowed on that pistol unless you want legal trouble.

    No vertical grips here :)!
This is what my gas tube looks like, the AK's Ive seen on U Tube dont have the lip at each end of the gas tube.

The UTG rail hangs over the gas tube lip about a 1/8th inch.

Im wondering if I need to take a dremal to it like you did scatwater.

I saw one yesterday at the gun show in Muncie with a wooden donkey dong fore grip on it. Is that legal? I asked the dealer if it was used and he said no, it had an odd looking flash hider on it too.:dunno:

I remember that one, and I'd call it a foregrip, even though it was short.

    Looked like this one-
